You can take home your newly grafted trees. Instructors: Jim Birkholz (Pleasant Valley Orchard), Eric Gustafson (Branch Nursery), and Jacquelyn Zita (Amador Hill Orchard, WEI).
Intern Opportunity: We are accepting one intern to take care of the orchard on a weekly basis. Starting with this class, followed by more training in pruning, planting new trees, pest management, scab management, nutrient care, harvesting and grading, orchard clean up, and winter care. This internship will include direct mentorship and require one day a week until the fall harvest comes in —more days per week or weekends after that.
