The Red Ball Party is an annual event at WEI which will occur on Saturday, April 3. At this gathering, we clean the insect traps used in the previous orchard season in preparation for hanging these reusable traps again this year. Everyone who helps with the challenge of cleaning the traps deserves the best in gourmet cuisine as fair exchange. We have invited chef Nick Schneider to prepare a gourmet catered lunch. The work begins at 8:30 and continues until lunch is served around 12:30. Drop by during the morning hours to help us. We need you to RSVP (651-583-0705) so that the lunch will feed everyone who participates in cleaning the traps. This event is free and open to anyone who wants to help with the work. We generally have a great time at the Red Ball Party.
