Course Objectives:

  1. Understand prevention and precautionary principles
  2. Identify common everyday toxin exposures
  3. Learn the 5 Main Elimination Channels in the body to support
  4. Acquire basic botanical knowledge about 12+ herbs to help cleanse and support the body to minimize risk of toxin overload

Certification: This class can be applied for clinical credit hours in the Master Herbalism Program (Green Wisdom School of Natural and Botanical Medicine). Instructor Bio: Gigi Stafne MH, ND is an enthusiastic educator, activist, and writer in the health justice and natural medicine fields She is faculty at the Women’s Environmental Institute, Director of the Green Wisdom School of Natural & Botanical Medicine and former Executive Director of Herbalists Without Borders International. Earth ethics, ecology, sustainability, and environmental health are woven into every level of her organizing and teaching for the past 30+ years.
