Access to food is a human right, but for too many people and for a variety of reasons, food security is a real challenge–one that will be exacerbated by climate change. However, growing food sustainably and at local scales provides an opportunity to both reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase community resilience, all while increasing food security.
Join the Women’s Environmental Institute for a conversation about how to grow food and advance environmental justice in a changing climate, learn about different opportunities coming up to engage in this work (including the 2-day Farming for a Livable Planet training featuring Will Allen), and take your next steps to build the future we know is possible.
