WEI’s Amador Hill Farm, an organically certified four-season farm, is looking for a person to join our daily farm crew.  Workload includes daily farm chores and tasks related to seasonal production, including seeding, transplanting, bed-making, irrigation installation, hoop house growing, weeding, harvesting, and packing of fresh produce, among other tasks. We are looking for someone who endorses the food and farming justice mission of the Women’s Environmental Institute and is eagerly ready to farm. This can be a part-time or full-time position;  5 to 8 hours shifts available, mostly outdoors. The position starts immediately, and subject to probationary period, can provide employment through to the end of October. Pay rate negotiable depending on qualifications.   • Experience working on a farm using sustainable or organic farming
  • Knowledge of organic farming methods
  • Ability to lead and teach students and visitors at the farm Some knowledge of farm machinery maintenance
  • Experience working with chickens
