Farming for a Livable Planet – Farmer Training Weekend with Will Allen 2019
Full Event Description HERE
WORK-TRADE PROGRAM: In exchange for a full or partial tuition waiver, work-trade participants commit to a designated number of volunteer work hours doing farm work at WEI’s Amador Hill Farm or work supporting the farmer training event. All work hours must be completed before October 1, 2019. All shifts must be scheduled ahead of time. You may need to work more than the minimum required hours because of the length of certain shifts – depending on the shifts you choose. To sign-up for WEI’s Farming for a Livable Planet Work-Trade Program, please fill out the form below. We will follow up with you regarding the next steps.
- 20 hours of volunteer work for a full ($275) tuition waiver
- 10 hours of volunteer work for a half ($137.50) tuition waiver – you will be required to pay the remaining $137.50 by September 16, 2019
*For all shifts, we are counting on your participation, please be courteous and arrive on time ready to work. If you must reschedule your shift for some reason, please provide ample notice – we rely on our scheduled volunteer help and last minute cancellations are a hardship for our team.
*We ask you to check and respond to your emails regularly. You will receive a confirmation email prior to each shift with important details. You will also receive important information about workshops prior to our event.
